Dear Co-Workers,
The
Wisdom Newsletter has been reinitiated by
the present needs of the Wisdom community.
As such it will be published cyclically as
co-workers submit appropriate material and
ideas. It is our hope that it inspire and
guide us into wise and serviceful action.
While its expressed intent is to discuss
various aspects of the New Thought Form
Presentation of the Wisdom via Master
R/Lucille Cedercrans, it will also be
inclusive of the works and teachings of
Master DK/Alice Bailey, Master M/Helena
Roerich, and others. Under their collective
and auspicious presentations of this Wisdom
are we inspired. It is also our hope that
this Newsletter empowers some semblance of
the Synthetic Ashram into the group
incarnate consciousness. May it empower the
Incarnation of Humanity's Soul.
In our first issue you will find articles
by Richard Randall, Greg Tzinberg, William
Moore, Gerry Stancil, Suzanne Vallez, Glen
Knape, and Brother Rob Chistiansen, as well
as artwork by William Moore and poetry by
Adam DeFranco. We hope you enjoy these
offerings.

Working with "Fire" |
|
by: Richard T. Randall
Forum Question: "...if the mental is air as in
astrology ... then why does the mental plane relate
to 'fire'?"
This is an incredibly vast subject to undertake and
the lower concrete mind of the personality can
become easily confused, and entangled, in a
juxtaposition and cross-over of esoteric words and
terms. Both Master R and DK constantly direct the
Student of the Wisdom to focus on hidden meaning of
a word, or grouping of words, that clothe an
occult-esoteric Truth.
Note very carefully the sentence in the first
paragraph of Lesson 31 in "The Nature of the Soul":
"We come now to the most difficult stage of the
creative process to reveal in word form." Then
following: "How is mind created? Here indeed is a
mystery"
The Word (Air) produces three colors which merge and
blend into one Fire. That Fire is manas, the
principle of mind" "The Word or breath, the actual
sound of God which we call Air, as a frequency of
matter, is everywhere equally present within any
form." (NS Lesson 30). Air also represents the
Buddhic Plane.
In the Lessons 30 and 31 "fire" and "air" are part
of the creative process of the Soul within the
Buddhic Plane. The four frequencies of prime matter
- earth, air, fire, and water - are manipulated in
such a way by the Soul that "fire" is given a
predominance as mental substance related to the
mental plane. That mental substance (fire or manas)
is what we also use, down here, to think with, as a
personality. It is something like our quota of
mental substance drawn from the mental plane, which
is then arranged in such a way that is gives the
consciousness (the "thinker") the illusion of having
an individual or separate mind."
The air that we breathe and speak with is also a
very occult, symbolic, action directly related to
the sounding of the Logoic (God) Word, which is Air.
We humans replicate this cosmic creative process on
a very tiny scale in our everyday lives, when we
think and speak using mind and air to formulate a
word. This explains another mystery behind the
statement in the New Testament from the Master Jesus
as the Christ: "I see the Father and do likewise."
There is more interest in this subject of "fire"
being discussed out here than before, which
indicates the growing awareness within the group
anent the Initiatory Process that is governed by the
agency of "fire". This is a mystery that becomes
revealed gradually to the consciousness on the Path
of Initiation. This interest comes with the
awakening of the consciousness to the mental plane
as part of the group initiation that Humanity is now
undergoing.
Within and behind these Lessons from this New
Thought-Form Presentation of the Wisdom resides that
1283 page volume of supplemental study that
precipitated from the 2nd Ray Ashram in 1923, "A
Treatise on Cosmic Fire". (Bailey/DK). The following
are quotes and concepts from this and other works of
DK for more thinking and meditation about FIRE.
"the subject of human initiation... It is not
possible here to publish the details... beyond using
the description as embodied in the words 'fire
descends from heaven'... This is the stupendous
moment for the initiate, and brings to him the
realization of the literal truth of the phrase that
'God is a consuming Fire'. He knows past all
gainsaying that fiery energy and electric force
constitute the sum-total of all that is. He is
literally bathed in the fires of purification; he
sees fire on all sides... he sees no one... and is
aware of nothing but a fiery blaze of pure,
blue-white flame, which burns, but destroys not,
which intensifies the activity of every atom in his
body without disintegrating, and which purifies his
entire nature. The fire tries his work... and he
passes through the Flame."
"The Fire of Mind, the basis of all expression and
in one peculiar occult sense the sum-total of
existence. It provides the relation between the life
and the form, between spirit and matter, and is the
basis of consciousness itself."
"Man is a Three-fold Fire. The Three Fires:
Electric Fire - Spirit - Will - Monad;
Solar Fire - Consciousness - Love-Wisdom - Soul;
Fire by Friction - Matter - Mind - Intelligence -
Personality."
"The Fire or Spark of Mind. This constitutes the
thinking self-conscious unit of the soul."
"When the latent fire of personality or lower self
blends with the fire of mind, that of the higher
self, and finally merges with the Divine Flame, then
the man takes the fifth Initiation in this solar
system... When the three the blaze forth as one
fire, liberation from matter, or from material form,
is achieved."
"Manas is electricity. The Fire of Mind is
fundamentally electricity. Electricity in the Solar
System shows itself in seven major forms"
"The Mystery of Electricity... deals with the
electrical phenomenon which finds its expression in
the light which man has somewhat harnessed, in the
phenomena such as thunder storms and the
manifestation of lighting... and have to do with the
"soul of things".
"Manas is, really WILL working itself out on the
physical plane."
"The mental plane itself, within our Planetary
Logos, is Fire and the Lord Agni is the presiding
Deva lord of that plane." This relates to the Agni
Yoga series of Helen Roerich.
In "The Nature of the Soul", the student is directed
to Identify as the Persona (Form); as Consciousness
(Soul); as Light; and finally as Spirit (Monad, the
Spark of Divine Fire); Lesson 10 concerns: the
Divine Mind; Logoic Will; "that Mind which was in
Christ"; Light; the Three Lights (Spirit,
Consciousness, Intelligence); and the seed-thought
for meditation: "I am the Soul. I blend and merge
the three lights to become the Light Divine. I am
that Light."
Also in Lesson 23: "you are that Spark of Logoic
Fire"
The Process of Transmutation: "Transmutation is the
passage across from one state of being to another
through the agency of FIRE... it is not permissible
here to give out the transmutative formulas..." "It
is necessary here to point out, as I have done in
other matters
under consideration, that only certain facts can be
imparted, whilst the detailed work concerning
process may not be dealt with owing to the inability
for the race as yet to act altruistically."(excerpts
from TCF, Bailey/DK).
Since the time of that precipitation of the Wisdom
from the 2nd Ray Ashram into Humanity, everything
has now changed in regards to the revelation of the
"transmutative formulas".
In 1946, The Tibetan informed us that "a new ashram"
was being formed because of the unexpected and
tremendous change in human consciousness since the
conclusion of the World War, in which Humanity had
invoked extra-systemic Avatars, one of which was the
Avatar of Synthesis. This became known as The
Ashram of Synthesis and lead to the creation of the
New Thought-form Presentation of the Wisdom (NTFPW)
and the precipitation of Lucille's work via the
Master R. This "new" ashram is initially a synthesis
of three ashrams: the First, Second, and the Seventh
with an etheric triangular relationship between M,
KH/DK, and R.
In Lesson 8 of The Nature of the Soul, a specific
technique for transmutation is presented for the
first time in the history of the Hierarchy (part of
the externalization process) that a precise word and
geometric formula for transmutation was given out to
students and disciples for service to Humanity. The
technique has the student focused in a triangular
alignment of the Personality, the Soul, and the
Subconscious. It is also referred to as "this
technique of Soul therapy"
The protection afforded the student and Humanity
with the revelation of these techniques was
presented in Lesson 3: "You will be invoking into
your vehicles the higher frequency of Spiritual
energies, which can be safely wielded only for the
betterment of humanity. Deliberate misuse of a
Spiritual energy, or power brings quick retribution
(karma) to the user, and hence the protection of the
masses is insured by Divine Law".
The "Spiritual energy" referred to is FIRE.
"Deliberate misuse of a Spiritual energy... brings
quick retribution" And we all know what happens when
you mishandle fire.
What is little understood or realized in the group,
is the fact that Lucille wrote a second major course
of instruction of forty lessons for the general
public entitled "Corrective Thinking". This came
after The Nature of the Soul, and is entirely
designed with the emphasis upon Soul Therapy,
Spiritual Alchemy, and Transmutation. To this day,
the group's persona has a problem in the acceptance
and place of importance of this course created to be
used by Students and Teachers in this new effort in
the externalizing of the occult secrets of
Transmutation in service to Humanity.
In "Corrective Thinking" Lesson 27 it says:
"Transmutation, or Spiritual Alchemy, is a science
based upon Divine Facts in Nature, which we as
conscious Souls can learn and apply to the
betterment of our world. In a very real sense we
are, in this series of instruction, dealing with the
transmutation process." (Underscoring added)
The Aspirant "plays" with Fire. The Probationer
"works" with Fire. The Disciple IS Fire.
The Disciple is a center of Spiritual Fire and an
agent of transmutation for Humanity.
"I am a point of sacrificial Fire focused in the
fiery Will of God. And thus I stand" (The Disciple's
Affirmation)

How I Met Lucille
|
|
by:
Greg Tzinberg - (First in a Series)
I started taking Nature of the Soul
and Corrective Thinking classes with Richard
Schaible in 1969 while I was still in High School.
Richard did not talk about Lucille very much even
though I think we were all very curious to know
anything we could about her. Her name always
appeared on the lessons as Cedercrans and I did not
even know that they (Richard and Lucille) had been
married. So we were all very excited when he
announced that she was coming and a bit confused
that she was going to be teaching a class about
Buddhism.
The year was 1974. At that time I had recently
completed Richard Schaible's Teacher's Training
class and I was not sure that I wanted to begin
teaching. So Lucille's visit was an opportune moment
for me to get to know the woman about whom I knew so
little and from whom I would learn so much.
As a result of that weekend I felt I was not ready
to teach. There seemed to be a whole new vista of
knowledge and practice that I never new existed. I
needed to go back into the world of experience yet
again for more of life's lessons. One thing I
gathered during the weekend was that Lucille was
living at the time up in Berkeley at a place called
the Nyingma Institute but I did not see Lucille
again until almost four years later.
Shortly after that weekend I decided to move to Mill
Valley in Northern California. One of the first
things I did was to visit the Nyingma Institute. But
then a strange thing happened. When I went to the
front desk and asked for Lucille Cedercrans I was
told that there was no one there by that name. I
still did not know her as Lucille Schiable and that
woman was not about to go through the names of the
residents to help clear things up. I was greatly
puzzled but I left thinking that I must have gotten
the name of the place wrong but not knowing where I
could turn to next. Several more years passed.
In 1976 I went back to the Nyingma Institute because
they were looking for volunteers to help them build
a monastery in Cazadero, California a very rugged
and beautiful spot atop a hill overlooking the
Pacific Ocean. So for several months I lived up
there, working on the place with a bunch of other
refugees from the Bay area. It was exhausting work
and just when I thought I could not work any longer
or harder, the Lama Tarthang Tulku came up to
inspect the project in advance of a big Open House
that was coming up.
I had never met Tarthang before and everyone was
excited to hear what he had to say. So we all left
our tasks and trooped over to where he was and
listen to what he had to say. At first, and for the
longest time he did not say anything. He just looked
sad and every once in a while he looked at one of
the work-team leaders and just sighed. After this
went on for a bit I found myself just aching to do
anything to make him happy and in a flash I realized
that that was just what he wanted everyone to feel.
By the time he started talking everyone was just
beside themselves. He began by talking about how
disappointed he was that the work was going so
slowly. Then he announced that he was considering
canceling the Open House. At this point everyone
just about begged to be allowed to work
'round-the-clock to finish on time. It was a
masterful piece of project management and it worked
like a charm.
Tarthang stayed with us. He worked as hard or harder
than any one us. He had an uncanny knack to show up
just where he was needed and even performed a
miracle or two like when a worker knocked down a
utility pole by accident and was almost electrocuted
and another time when a guy fell asleep and almost
drove off a cliff but swore he was awakened just in
time by Tarthang who appeared out of nowhere on the
road.
Our schedule was relieved somewhat when Tarthang
begun impromptu teachings that signaled the end of
the workday. Around that time I was feeling very
frustrated because I thought there was a reason for
me to be there but after all this time, nothing
seemed evident. For several days, all I thought
about was why in the world was I there with a bunch
of crazy Tibetan Buddhists.
During one of the teaching sessions Tarthang started
talking about the plans for the Open House and he
mentioned that some very important dignitaries would
be coming. Someone then asked who was coming and he
started naming a bunch of people like the Lt.
Governor of California and so forth when all of a
sudden he leans over in his chair, looks me straight
in the eye and says, "[ ]and Lucille SCHIABLE is
coming, Lucille SCHIABLE!
Somehow he knew. It was like coming out of a dense
fog. All those years when I could not find Lucille
and was confused about what went wrong resolved into
a great feeling of relief and clarity. Suddenly
everything lifted and I knew I would soon meet my
teacher again.
To be continued,,,
Greg Tzinberg has been a student of the Nature of
the Soul series since 1970. In 1974 he completed
Teacher's Training under Richard Schaible and went
on to study under Lucille Schiable from 1977 until
her passing in 1984.Greg was trained as a teacher by
Lucille and was recognized as a teacher in the
Nyingma Buddhist tradition by H. E. Shenpen Dawa
Rinpoche in 1985. Currently, Greg is scheduled to
teach Nature of the Soul in Alameda, California, at
the Home of Truth.

To Those Who Serve |
|
article and art by: William Moore
We often spend an inordinate amount of our time
criticizing our leaders, neighbors, co-workers,
families, and yes, even our group brothers and
sisters.
As personalities this, in many ways, is to be
expected, but as those treading the path towards a
higher state of being we can ill-afford to take this
approach. Even so, we sometimes find this tendency
quite prevalent among aspirants and students of the
Wisdom around the world. We must constantly monitor
ourselves regarding criticism to make sure that we
are not adding to the "noise" of the world which
clouds our perception of Truth. Why? Because the
Wisdom is our second set of "eyes" which allows us
to turn our united group focus upon that noise and
respond to it without judgment.
Think for a moment what it would be like if students
of the Wisdom began right now to actively visit
others of like mind around the world to teach,
meditate, talk, laugh, and break bread together.
Not via the internet, but face-to-face. A computer
can't exchange a warm handshake with an old and new
friends, but you and I can.
I believe that we must constantly bear in mind that
the light of Truth honors all humanity regardless of
national and group discords, dis-enchantments, or
philosophical differences. Even though we must meet
and overcome these day-to-day challenges, our true
work lies far beyond them. We must begin to present
humanity with viable alternatives to the belief that
we are without hope. That we have lost our desire
to care. That we cannot rise above our hatreds,
separativeness, and our most paralyzing fears.
It is time we divorced ourselves from the
finger-pointing and accusation which has fragmented
so many groups. We are old friends who have spent
many lifetimes together. After our long journey of
growth and development, we find ourselves standing
on the threshold of a new civilization. What a
wonderful opportunity we have before us! Hierarchy
is calling us forth to build the architecture of
Right Human Relations, Synthesis, and World
Goodwill. The plans have been approved, the bricks
and mortar await our eager hands, so let us TOGETHER
build a lighted house.
If we are committed to serving the harmonious
expression of peace, group integration, and soul
growth, then it is imperative that we resolve our
differences. If we are committed to aiding the
spiritual evolution of humanity, then we must
continually remind ourselves that despite outward
appearances, humanity is nonetheless striving.
The great challenge confronting both individuals and
groups who seek the Wisdom, and a useful alignment
with The Plan, is breaking the shackles of criticism
and judgment. Not one of us truly knows the path
another is destined to travel. Thus, as students
and teachers of the Wisdom, we can ill-afford to
embrace criticism and judgment. Instead we must be
actively
engaged in presenting humanity with a greater
worldview which speaks to The One Humanity. This is
the real test of our moral fiber, courage, and
willingness to continually embrace and teach those
Higher Truths embodied in God's Plan for humanity.

Some Thoughts on the Four Elements
|
|
by:
Gerry Stancil
The elements earth, air, fire and water are
symbols that can be interpreted from many points
of view. Their interpretations, as with all
symbols, will be individual in nature[i]
and will necessarily grow as the individual
grows in consciousness.
In
The Nature of The Soul
[ii] the elements are described as "four
frequencies of prime matter [ ] known by the
occultist as:
1 =
esoteric light
2 = esoteric sound
3 = esoteric color
4 = esoteric vibration"
In
the process of creation, these elements arise
when Divine Will (The Father Aspect, Positive
Pole, Spirit or Purpose) fecundates Divine
Intelligence (The Mother Aspect, Negative Pole,
Matter, or Activity) giving rise to Divine Love
(The Son Aspect, Magnetic Field, Consciousness
or Evolution). The Three Principles of Divine
Will, Divine Love and Divine Intelligence then
synthesize to form the spiritual principle of
esoteric sound:
"In order to more clearly understand this
subject, consider again the fact that Spirit and
matter are but two polarities of one energy or
force. Spirit, matter and consciousness make up
the causal triangle of Manifestation.
Out of that first trinity is born
a focus of consciousness
which is Logoic, in that it is a precipitated
synthesis of the three. This focus is
numerically a four in consciousness, since it is
the harmony of the three, which has been
precipitated into a lower frequency of itself.
Thus, while Logos means One, it also means four,
in that that which is behind Logos is sounding,
i.e., breathing. Sound has to do with breath,
the first harmonic movement of the major three
into manifestation.
Thus, that frequency of matter that is defined
as esoteric sound, or the so-called element of
air, is numerically a One or a four, the living
breath or Word of the Creator."[iii]
In turn, Sound,
radiating forth as Air or the Word, fecundates
dark matter from the first Solar System (our
Solar System is the Second and is to be followed
by a Third) to form Earth, Which is essentially
consciousness in primordial matter, and Which
evolves, during refinement, as Light. As the
fecundation of the element Earth continues and
intensifies, vibration or heat (the element
Water) and color (the element Fire) grow in
prominence.
This process of
refinement, redemption or "mining" of dark
matter is succinctly hinted at in a preamble to
an Old Book of Cosmogony:
"To Being there has never been a beginning,
For nothing cannot give rise to someting.
Darkness pervaded all before Light came.
But Light did not come from Darkness,
For Darkness is the absence of Light.
Being, in Its ceaseless effort to be,
Gave rise to Density. [iv]
And Density brought forth Warmth and Light.
Then there came into existence Living Things."
The Word or Logos
is a synthesis of Spirit, Consciousness and
Matter precipitated into a lower frequency and
may be symbolized using the triangle as in
Figure 1. It expresses the esoteric principles
or frequencies of light, sound, color and
vibration or Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Air,
Fire, Water and Earth can
be associated with matter of
the Buddhic, Mental, Astral and
Physical Etheric Planes,
respectively. In this sense the elements are
referred to as the lower quaternary, as the
dense physical plane is not a principle.
Thus, Air, Fire, Water and Earth are everywhere
present and are parts of every form on every
Plane. All of the principle frequencies are
present on all the four planes of manifestation
but each, respectively, is predominant on a
given plane. All forms in line with the Plan
begin with their prototype or idea on the
Buddhic Plane having a specific combination or
formula of the principle frequencies, which
combination is "realized" as the form
precipitates on the various planes on its way
into appearance. Fire is predominant on the
Mental Plane, Water on the Astral Plane, and
Earth on the Physical Etheric Plane.
In
The Nature of The Soul, the Soul is identified
as the manipulator of the elements and creates
forms affording right expression of the Plan.
A recent meditation highlighted
a complimentary view of the four elements as
Life functions and brought to mind a well-known
statement by H. P. Blavatsky:
"Life we look upon as the One
Form of Existence,
manifesting in what is called Matter; or what,
incorrectly separating them, we name Spirit,
Soul and Matter in man. Matter is the Vehicle
for the manifestation of Soul on this plane of
existence, and Soul is the Vehicle on a higher
plane for the manifestation of Spirit, and these
three are a Trinity synthesized by Life, which
pervades them all."[v]
This led to some interesting connections between
the elements and the physical etheric plane, the
Great Invocation, living organisms, and The
Zodiac.
The elements, earth, air, fire and water were
revealed as coequal, codependent and necessary
functions for any entity, living whole or
organism to sustain itself on whatever plane or
in whatever environment it might exist--buddhic,
mental, astral or physical etheric.
The elements are generic in nomenclature and
represent the functions of an organism to
sustain itself by:
intaking from its environment (water, desire)
impacting its environment (fire, action)
experiencing, cognizing and expressing an ideal
(air, order)
growing upward toward that ideal (earth, body),
They are carried on within the
ring-pass-not of all life souces including,
scale notwithstanding, the atom, the cell, the
human, the Planetary Logos, the Solar Logos, the
Zodiac and the Cosmos as a Whole. Such living
organisms can be imaged or symbolized by a
circle with a dot in its center, the dot
representng the source of life and the circle
representing the ring-pass-not (Figure 2).
Implicit within this symbol are the workings of
the four elements.
The organism's functions (its
elements) may be relatively active (+),
relatively inactive (-), or balanced with
respect to its environment.
These environmental interactions correspond in
astrology to mutable, fixed or cardinal, or, in
Hindu philosophy, to rajasic, tamasic and
sattvic, respectively. One can clearly see how
this information is contained in the zodiac,
where each element is represented by a triangle
(e.g., the Fire triangle consisting of Aries-1,
Leo-5 and Sagittarius-9) and each triangle shows
three modes of interacting with its environment
(Aries-balanced, Leo-passive,
Sagittarius-active).
Nowhere are the elements more clearly seen
as functions or relevant today than in regard to
the physical etheric subplanes which some call
chemical (earth), reflective (air), light (fire)
and life
[vi](water)
and in which science is today working. And one
can readily see the elements in the Great
Invocation as the center where the will of God
is known (air), the point of light within the
mind of God (fire), the point of love within the
heart of God (water) and Humanity (earth).
In short, the elements can be thought of as the
life sustaining functions of all organisms
everywhere and as the processes through which
Life expresses.

Conscious Dying |
|
by: Suzanne N. Vallez
"Our ideas about death have been
erroneous, we have looked upon it as the great and
ultimate terror. In reality it is the great
escape. The entrance into a fuller measure of
activity, and the release of the life from the
crystallized vehicle and an inadequate form." The
Consciousness of the Atom (64/5)
According to
Destiny of the
Nations [by Alice Bailey] it was mentioned
that humanity has a problem with Death. There is a
need in humanity to learn how to die. How you die
is how you have lived. Death is the final stage of
growth. It is our last opportunity to heal, forgive
and make amends to those (especially ourselves) for
anyone who has hurt us during our lifetime. Also to
make restitution with our body. Life is our
classroom to redeem ourselves and lessons to learn.
During our final stages of growth, we can transmute
ourselves and leave at a higher level if we choose.
This is especially imperative for disciples. It is
a last self-initiated growth process. If we look at
the larger scheme of things we are here on earth
only for a very short period of time compared to
eternity.
On subjective levels, we need to take the
responsibility to intuitively know when it is time
to exit. We may be in a difficult situation, such
as an accident and know that we will not survive.
At this time we can sound the Ohm, focus on the head
or heart centers. Each night we can prepare
ourselves for the great exit by doing the sleep
technique.
If we
are sick we need to make restitution with our
bodies, thank it for serving us during this lifetime
as a vehicle embodying the temple of our soul. We
get in touch with our own immortality and at times
are in denial and don't want to think of this
inevitable time. We want to hold onto life because
we love life. This is holding onto the form
matter. We have to remember that we are conscious
souls incarnate. Not our body.
Death
is our greatest fear. We can courageously learn to
conquer this fear. Subjectively there is no death.
We need knowledge so that we can cut away this
fear. A well-lived life will not be regrettable if
we find our purpose. Death needs to be raised into
a more scientific level, and then we can teach
people how to die. There are techniques that have
been lost largely in the West and is almost lost
except in a few centres of Knowers in the East. The
thought of the needed approach to this subject can
rest in the minds of the students who study, read
and think, material of interest will come their way
which could be gradually assembled and published.
To
those who are healers and in the health care
professions we can assist those transitioning within
our sphere of influence. When we realize that Death
is an act of the intuition, transmitted by the soul
to the personality and then acted upon in conformity
to the divine will by the individual will, we can
understand it and sometimes welcome it when we see
our loved ones suffer and their bodies are
terminally ill and diseased.
"As
humanity becomes soul-conscious death will be seen
as an "ordered" process, carried out in full
consciousness and with understanding of cyclic
purpose." For everything there is a season. We can
understand cycles; we can understand a continuity of
consciousness at another level within our Souls.
A Conscious Dying "Into The Light" Group Meditation
has been used for those who would like to
participate to subjectively help those in
transitioning at this time. This can be used
anytime. Preferably Sunday evening, since a
majority of people make their transitions early
Monday morning. During our course of studying
Death: The Great Adventure requests are solicited
for purpose of those in transition and will be held
in meditation 24/7.

Interview with Pam Nissen
|
|
by Adam DeFranco
INTERVIEW - PAM NISSEN, December 2007
Adam: We want to introduce Pam Nissen
today. We're going to allow her to talk, explain &
dialogue with us about her personal experiences with
Lucille Cedercrans.
Pam Nissen: I met Lucille in 1952 and the reason I
met her was because my husband was interested in
flying saucers. We heard there was going to be a
flying saucer meeting, but it turned out that
wasn't the case at all. It happened that the man
who would be giving this lecture was actually trying
to get students for Lucille's work, because he was a
teacher.
The reason Lucille was in Spokane was that she had
left her husband in Boise and was getting a divorce.
And the real fun thing about this was that while she
still lived in Boise she had a knock on the door and
there was a man who was asking for directions. Well
they talked for a while and she asked him in for
coffee. He wound up being her power station. When
Lucille decided to get a divorce and move, she
moved to Spokane because this man she'd invited in
for coffee, and his relatives, were living in
Spokane. I was living 10 miles south of Spokane at
that time in Valleyford, way out in the country,
with my husband, and we worked every day. So we went
to the meetings. His name was Ward Fuller, and he
was our teacher for quite a little while before we
met Lucille. Lucille in the meantime was moving to
Spokane and had established a house there and
brought her five kids. This is how we met Lucille
through Ward Fuller and he was her power station
until she met Gray Cedercrans and they finally got
married and then they had a little baby, Debbie. My
husband and I took Teacher Training from Lucille and
my husband started teaching in Spokane. He had a
nice big group so Lucille came to bring a
communication to Curt's group. It was instruction
from Master R. My husband held meetings once a week
and we went to town and met at different people's
houses.
Adam: So what was Ward talking about?
Pam: The Nature of the Soul - the short series ten
lessons.
Adam: Had Lucille done much writing at this time?
Pam: When she came to Spokane she had already
written the short version "Nature of the Soul" and
"Corrective Thinking".
Adam: So she was already doing this work?
Pam: I don't know how long she was doing it in
Boise, but she had a group there.
Adam: Oh, she had a group there.
Pam: Yes. From some of the correspondence I've seen,
there was a group there. They were trying at that
time to incorporate so that they could ask for
donations to establish a centre. I don't think they
got around to it, and to my knowledge I don't think
Lucille ever established a physical center meeting
place until she got to Estes Park.
Adam: Interesting. So when you met Lucille for the
first time was it at her class, at her house?
Pam: Yes.
Adam: Did you know why you were going to Lucille's
house at that time?
Pam: Yes, we knew she was giving the lessons. She
was a communicating station. Of course, in my life,
I had never had any religious background at all,
neither did my husband, and we just heard of this
teaching through Ward. It was the first time we'd
ever even thought about the Wisdom, so we were all
new at this.
Adam: Did it make much sense to you when they
started talking about the soul?
Pam: Yeah. It just seemed so natural and of course
we were hooked on it right away. We probably have
had a lot of experience of this in the past - it
just seemed so natural.
Adam: Well that makes sense. So when you first
started going to her classes did she start off right
away to do the transmissions and the alignment with
Master R?
Pam: Yes. Everything she ever did in class was
bringing through some concept or another because
there was always a concept. At these meetings after
everyone had settled down, getting a coffee and a
cigarette, and we were all having a good time
getting acquainted, and then Master R would come
through and He would speak about the concept that
she'd been working on.
Adam: Now, when you say "the concept she was working
on." was she more or less aligning every day to
receive information about a concept?
Pam: Yes. She would write about these things. You
see, she didn't really understand, I don't think,
where all of these communications were coming from
because she would get this stuff in her head and she
would have to write it out. She learned that she
had to make an alignment. Of course, she's done
this...for I don't know many, many incarnations, so
it came very naturally to her. But I think Ward was
the one who explained to her that this was the
Masters and he would help her make that alignment
as a power station to a communicating station, and
that way she was more secure in her alignment.
Adam: So Ward was sitting next to her and he would
do his meditation?
Pam: Yes, in a group all would sit in easy chairs
around in a circle. She would explain a concept and
then she said, "Wait a minute I have a contact", and
she would start talking. She would talk with her
eyes open and she would have an alignment with her
eyes open. She'd usually be looking, not at a
person, but sideways over in the corner - like she
wasn't really looking at anything - but she was
always awake, and in full senses. She wasn't
obsessed in any way. This was instruction that was
coming through from her alignment and He would
answer questions, if we had questions, and that way
the discussion would bring about more of the concept
that she had been working on.
Master R would expand the concept she'd been
working on. He would ask the group: "Do you
understand?" or "Are there questions?"
By their participation the expansion of the concept
would come through.
Adam: So the concept would deepen because the
participants would ask questions and respond to
Master R?
Pam: Yes, and if we didn't ask questions He wouldn't
respond, because we weren't getting it. The
discussion was bringing in the concept for Lucille.
Adam: So it was really a group effort?
Pam: Oh yes, always. She had always a group with her
when bringing through communication.
Adam: Did you all meditate together and then bring
about your group alignment?
Pam: We would all become very quiet and she would
take us through an alignment. In other words, she
was teaching us, for instance, the Nature of the
Soul and how to make our alignment - become
physically relaxed, emotionally calm and serene,
mentally poised and alert and then she would say:
"Become very receptive, because the Master R wants
to speak with us." At the beginning of the class she
would say: "I've been getting this concept" and she
would start to precipitate the concept and then
Master R would come in and clarify it.
Adam: Did you notice much of a change in her voice
when she spoke with Master R?
Pam: Very much more power, and we could feel the
power in the reception of the energies - we all
felt like we had skull caps on. This energy was very
heavy, very heavy and what amazes me is that she
could do this because I know that she had this
heaviness around the ajna and clear around her head.
When the majority of the concept had come through
she was relieved of that pressure.
Adam: Yes, yes. It's very interesting
Pam: So the whole concept, whatever was in
overshadowing, felt heavy until it was released into
the mental, astral, physical.
Adam: Did she ever just discuss it as if it was hot
or cold, or magnetic force or electrical force?
Pam: No, just pressure and I felt repulsed by it
because it was so strong. I wanted to run, to get
out of there. (Laughs)
Adam: How long did it take you to get comfortable
with it?
Pam: I don't think I ever did, it was such a strong,
presence like energy.
Adam: So his radiation was very strong?
Pam: And Had to come in almost to her mental body,
at least as far down as her head centre in order to
communicate. So that presence was in the room and
each one of us felt it as we were sensitive to that
particular frequency.
Adam: Now was there a change in frequency when she
spoke as Master R and then switched to Master John?
Pam: Oh, yes, very much so, Master John was like a
little Irish man.
Adam: (Laughs) Was he. Could you tell by her change
in voice?
Pam: She would bring the character of that entity in
her speech - a sparkling Irish voice.
Adam: So you're saying that the energy changed, and
it was a different feeling, a different quality, and
she even took on a different tone of voice.
Pam: Oh yes, and the reason that Master John came
through was because of this heaviness, and we
couldn't release it, so he'd come through to relief
the tension - he was really funny, and he would ask:
"Do you have any intelligent questions for me?" And
then we could ask anything we wanted to. We hardly
ever asked a pertinent question about the concept
that we were studying.
Adam: Lucille also brought through Master D.K. and
also Master M.
Pam: Yes. She was always connected with Master R. He
would always introduce the Others if they were there
to speak with us, otherwise she would reject it.
They had devised that He would introduce whoever was
waiting to speak.
Adam: Did you notice a change of voice when the
other Masters came through and what this was like?
Pam: Master D.K was kind of mellow and more loving.
Master R was more to the point and brisk. Master M
was all purpose. You could feel the difference in
energy. Sometimes Master KH came through - He was
more of a First Ray/through Second, and DK was more
all Second Ray. Master Jesus also came through and
said a paragraph one time. Another time we had the
Fourth Ray Master...
Adam: Serapis Bey??
Pam: Serapis Bey, Yes.
Adam: What was He like?
Pam: Oooh, Rhythm....Harmony (laughs)..You know,
that kind of thing. So that's why I am so sorry that
other people haven't been able to meet her, and
participate in some of these classes. Once you've
been in one of those classes, this is it for you,
there's no question, this is what you want to do,
and I'm sure that these people who were attracted to
Lucille as a group were attracted because of the
help from the Hierarchy. I don't think that she
could have done this herself, I think there was a
lot of help getting all of us there because we were
all part of it in past incarnations.
Adam: Yes, I would think so too.
Pam: Yes, so that once you have accepted this
Teaching, this Wisdom, this Ancient Wisdom, it's
always with you, and its just a recapitulation but
at the time I was there, I was just a kid.
Adam: How old were you?
Pam: I was 32.
Adam: Well now that you're 82....???
Pam: I was having fun. I never dreamed I'd be a
teacher. I was a secretary in my life. I worked for
a wholesale plumbing outfit, and Safeway stores, for
the District Attorney, and things like that, so I
was more of a secretary. So I guess that's why I've
lived this long so I can get all this stuff typed up
because I was a good typist.
Adam: I'm glad you've done it.
Pam: I couldn't have done it if I hadn't gone to
school and took shorthand...you know. We didn't have
to do shorthand, when we had a class, we always had
it recorded on a big reel to reel recorder.
Adam: I listen to the recording of Lucille "Disciple
on a Thread" almost every day going to work, and
every time I hear something different. I don't know
how this is possible, but I do.
Pam: Its true, every time you listen there's an
expansion.
Adam: Its wonderful
Pam: Every time you hear something of the Wisdom, it
is for every level of consciousness, every level.
You can read a paragraph anywhere in His work and it
applies to you where you are at this time.
Adam: Its wonderful.

Establishing The Wisdom Professions
|
|
by: Glen Knape
When and how does one become a
professional? In her works, R/Lucille specifically
instructs Wisdom teachers-in-training to help
establish "Teaching The Wisdom" as a profession. She
also lists a number of other Wisdom professions,
such as leaders, healers, etc., which by inference
are also to be "established as professions." But
what does that mean? It means that practitioners of
The Wisdom were to establish their professions in
the human consciousness and civilization.
When someone says they are a school teacher,
politician, or physician, the average member of
humanity immediately recognizes their profession.
That profession exists within the public
consciousness, and humanity has a clear idea of what
a member of that profession does, how to become one,
and when one might be needed.
There is, perhaps, some confusion over when the
process of education and training has progressed to
the point where one actually becomes a member of a
particular profession. For instance, when one
graduates from medical school with an M.D. or from
Law School with a J.D., one is not yet a physician
or a lawyer. Physicians must go through several
years of hands-on supervised experience and obtain a
state license (a process which has long been fodder
for popular medical dramas). One cannot become a
doctor of medicine merely by studying medical
science; one must also practice healing.
This is true in the Wisdom professions as well, but
not in the same way. One becomes a Wisdom
professional by being and practicing The Wisdom. A
course of study may be part of the preparation for
that practice, and a certification program may
provide some sort of acknowledgement, but neither is
a criterion for it.
A wisdom profession is an inner state of being that
manifests within the world of affairs as a
self-initiated service activity. That inner state of
being is awareness as Spiritual Soul, and
consciousness of one's purpose, place and function
within one's ashramic group life.
Every student of The Nature of The Soul is familiar
with the ceremonial magic of consciousness by which
one achieves this inner state of being. Regular
practice of the inner techniques of The Nature of
The Soul will gradually integrate the Overshadowing
Spiritual Soul (which dwells within the ashram) with
the incarnate human and animal soul. In the process,
one becomes increasingly aware of one's place and
function, as Soul, within an ashramic group unit or
disciple. As that awareness of place and function
grows, one increasingly turns the focus of one's
inner work from self awareness to precipitating the
life of the Spiritual Soul into appearance.
Thus, the activity that makes one a wisdom
professional is the magical process of precipitating
the purpose and function of the Soul, within the
group life of the ashram, into the three lower
worlds and on into time and space as an outer
activity.
The outer activity or appearance is not the focus or
goal of the inner service work, but an expression of
it which serves several functions. It grounds the
inner work in outer form, making a place for that
work in the world economy and providing a link
between an embodied condition in humanity and the
overshadowing solution to that condition.
For example: Using the appropriate adjustment,
transmutation, and alignment techniques on a
persistent, daily basis, students of The Wisdom
align with the Soul in the Ashram, and invoke their
overshadowing purpose and function. Looking around
for a way to embody that ongoing invocative work,
they find a need for organization and order within
their local Neighborhood Watch program. They join
that program, and (while continuing their invocative
work) begin adjusting and transmuting the
misrelationship's within that program.
Gradually they come to realize that the
misrelationship's within that program are
symptomatic of a social breakdown that involves
every aspect of society. The old ways of relating
within communities no longer work, and humanity has
no idea what is wrong or what to do. As the students
begin to recognize the problem, they align with the
overshadowing solution and invoke clarity and
understanding. That understanding grows as they
apply it, via adjustments and transmutations, and
they begin to manifest that solution within the
local community.
As that solution becomes clear and active, it
becomes magnetic, and additional like-minded workers
are attracted to the inner and outer work.
Eventually, the new group of workers builds an outer
form for their service project (making a place for
it within the world economy), and then they take it
to humanity. At that point they have become wisdom
practitioners.
If one has achieved that state of being, and is
manifesting one's ashramic group life in one's outer
life and affairs, then one is a practitioner of The
Wisdom and may be a wisdom professional (a Teacher,
Healer, Leader, etc., of The Wisdom).
If one has not yet precipitated one's ashramic group
life, via a self-initiated service activity, then
one is not yet a wisdom professional.

editor, publisher, and a co-mason. He has been a
student of the Ageless Wisdom since 1977, and a
Teacher of The Wisdom since 1985.

Reverence for the Teacher |
|
|
by:
Brother Rob Christiansen
And reverence due to the Teacher? Nothing
dignifies a man so greatly. It is the man of
servile soul who is afraid to recognize grandeur
in some other man. He is not big enough. He is
afraid of giving himself grandly. The little man
is afraid of being 'sat upon', or snubbed, he
won't admit that the other man is greater than
he. The man who really is great inside
recognizes grandeur in other men, and bows to it
because he himself is inwardly a great man. He
recognizes the security of his own manhood and
can render homage and reverence and respect
because he has
them within himself. Reverence for a Teacher is
a beautiful thing, and a sign of inner growth;
and it is merely servility thinly disguised to
consider that you, I, anyone is so frightfully
independent and superior to others that he won't
recognize greatness when he sees it. He has not
it within himself.
When asked for a bio, Rob
replied; "Been there, done that, got the T-shirt
to prove it."
Brother Rob has been a world traveler seeking
spiritual experience and knowledge since 1970.
He worked with Mother Theresa in India on a
personal basis over the course of many years. He
continues to this day with his healing ministry
to guide and inspire people on their spiritual
path.

A Lighted House
|
|
by:
Adam DeFranco
Beyond worlds known to us
In this larger body expense of the universe
I build a lighted house
Not shaded from infinity
But blended through with stardust
Black holes
And the primordial fire storms
That give delight to such vast creatures
My face
My place
My wings
Have been spread out
By the strongest winds
So that I am no longer contained
But instead create
The free rough draft
Of human form divine
I build a lighted house
Not with sticks, stones and mortar
Not with hands
But from some celestial cloth
From the skein of stars
Bright
Luminous
Fiery
Impulsive to the ways of God
Wrapped in that delight
Only he could create
I shall build a lighted house
Not shaded from infinity
But open to the four winds
Of the high mountains from all sides
With view of the deep river
That washes this mind clean
So that it may stand pure
In the face of enlightenment
